Booking and pricing

Two to three weeks is comfortable for most UK and European routes. Long-haul destinations that need import permits can take six weeks or more, so contact us as early as you can and we will tell you the real lead time for your route.

How is the price worked out?

Distance, transport mode, crate size and any paperwork your destination requires. You get one fixed written price before booking, and it includes the crate, the handler, insurance and tracking.

Can I cancel or change dates?

Yes. Date changes are free where the route and paperwork still work. Cancellation terms are set out in your written quote before you commit to anything.

Paperwork and customs

What paperwork does my pet need?

Most routes need a microchip, a rabies vaccination inside the valid window and an animal health certificate. Destinations outside Europe often add an import permit and a blood titre test. We confirm the exact list for your route in writing before you book.

Do you handle customs clearance?

Yes. We prepare and lodge the documentation and manage border inspections. This is included in the quoted price rather than added later.

What if my pet is not vaccinated yet?

Tell us early. Several vaccinations have waiting periods before travel is permitted, so we work backwards from your date with your vet and build the timeline around it.

Travel conditions

How will my pet travel?

In an IATA-compliant crate sized so they can stand, turn and lie down naturally, in a climate-controlled vehicle or an approved hold. We deliver the crate ahead of travel so it is familiar by the day.

Are rest breaks guaranteed?

Yes, and they are logged. Water, comfort and exercise breaks appear on your tracking timeline with timestamps as they happen.

What about brachycephalic breeds?

Flat-faced breeds carry real respiratory risk in air transport and many airlines refuse them outright. Where flying is not safe we route by road or sea instead, and we will say so rather than take the booking.

Is my pet insured?

Full insurance cover is included on every booking as standard for the whole journey, not sold as an add on.
