Pet Path Logistics Ltd

How It Works

Six stages from first enquiry to signed hand over, with your tracking number live from the moment we collect.

The full journey

1

Tell us about your pet

Species, breed, age, weight and both addresses. We use this to work out whether the route should be road, air or sea.

2

Get a written plan and price

You receive the proposed route, the crate size, the handler arrangement and a fixed price. Nothing is booked until you approve it.

3

Pre-travel preparation

We confirm vaccinations and microchip details, prepare customs paperwork where the route needs it, and deliver the crate early so your pet can settle into it.

4

Collection day

Your handler collects within the agreed window, checks your pet in, and your tracking number goes live with its first milestone.

5

In transit

Follow live location, milestones and rest breaks from your phone. If an estimate changes, the timeline updates with the reason.

6

Hand over and close

We hand your pet to you or your named contact, capture a signature, and the record closes with a full audit trail you can download.

Timings you can plan around

Enquiry to written quote

One working day for UK and European routes. Longer for destinations we need to confirm import rules for first.

Quote to collection

Two to three weeks is comfortable for most routes. Permit-controlled destinations need six weeks or more.

Collection window

Agreed with you in advance, and often early morning or evening to suit flight times and avoid the hottest part of the day.

Updates in transit

At each recorded milestone rather than continuously, so expect gaps during a long leg or a flight.

Hand over

To you or your named contact, against a signature. The record then closes with a downloadable audit trail.

What we need from you

Have these ready and most routes can be booked the same week. We will tell you early if your destination needs anything beyond this list.
